**Patient Intake & Welcome Call Specialist**Full-time - 40 hours - $28 CAD / HR ($58,240 CAD / Year)At Medically Modern, we help people managing diabetes get the CGMs, insulin pumps, and supplies they need — without the runaround. You'll be the first friendly voice a new patient hears and the one who welcomes them once they're set up. This role sits right at the intersection of care and conversion: every call is a chance to make someone's healthcare experience feel human, while also making sure they follow through and stay enrolled.**What you'll do**- Own the first touchpoint with new patients — collecting the info we need to get their intake moving quickly and accurately- Guide patients through what to expect, answering questions with patience and clarity (many are anxious, confused, or new to their diagnosis)- Conduct Welcome Calls once a patient is fully onboarded — confirming details, building trust, and setting the tone for a long-term relationship- Spot hesitation or drop-off risk and re-engage patients with a warm, persistent, sales-savvy touch — never pushy, always genuine- Keep clean, accurate records in our internal systems so nothing falls through the cracks**Who you are**- You listen first. You can sit with someone's frustration or fear and still move the conversation forward- You're comfortable on the phone all day and know how to build rapport fast- You have a sales instinct — you know how to handle objections, re-engage a stalled conversation, and close the loop without being aggressive- You're detail-oriented; intake accuracy directly affects whether a patient gets their supplies on time- Healthcare, DME, call center, or patient-facing experience is a plus, not a requirement**Why Medically Modern**We're a fast-growing, patient-first DME company serving thousands of people across all 50 states.
