Medical Technologist – Lacroix Private Lab

Work Location: Lacroix Private Lab – 1000 Sainte-Foy Road, Quebec City Schedule: Part-time evening shifts and rotating one weekend out of seven Salary: $30 to $42/hour, plus a $2/hour evening shift premium Who are we? Our Mission To be the benchmark in private healthcare Our valuesPassion | Respect | Integrity | Commitment | Innovation Your role in our laboratory As a medical technologist, you will play a vital role in the processing and analysis of samples, while contributing to operational efficiency and the quality of results delivered to patients and healthcare professionals. Main responsibilities Receive samples at the laboratory; Create computer queries; Perform certain laboratory analyses (CFS, PT, PTT, PCR, SEDI, etc.); Inoculate microbiology samples; Perform manual antibiograms; Verify data entry in Unity Real Time; Scan laboratory requisitions.Desired ProfileRequirements

• Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Biomedical Analysis Technology from a school recognized by the Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports.
• Membership in the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec is an asset.
• Experience in microbiology is an asset.
