- Utilize your drafting and civil design abilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Work on a diverse range of civil and geotechnical engineering projects, including; water storage and tailings dams, foundations and geohazards, municipal infrastructure, roads, surface water drainage, flood and erosion protection, and irrigation canals.
- Prepare, update, finalize and file engineering drawings and packages
- Work in a collaborative, open door, community environment that values innovation, teamwork and professional development.
If you have 5+ years of related experience using Civil 3D and a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting, we want to hear from you!We value your:
- Proficiency using the latest version of Civil 3D (2020 or higher)
- Exposure or working knowledge of Global Mapper and ArcGIS Pro (an asset but not required)
- Knowledge of earthworks and civil engineering in mining environments (an asset but not required)
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and oversee the preparation of civil designs, drawings and specifications for various projects.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Attention to detail, and ability to interpret the work, actively collaborate with the project team, and ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and client requirements
- Initiative, positive work ethic and commitment to continuous learning
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
