Early Childhood Educator

We currently have over 120 childcare centres across Canada are constantly expanding; come and grow within the company!We are currently looking to hire on call supply educators at our Vancouver West location!Responsibilities-being

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum
• Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
• Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
• Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents, and co-workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
• Strong collaborator and team player
• Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
• Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Valid British Columbia ECE License
• Criminal Record Check
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
• Immunizations up to date
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up-to 45 pounds
