Senior Accountant

A well-established company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance Manager across a range of accounting and finance functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting, IFRS compliance, and post-acquisition integration. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving accuracy, process improvement, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll DoFinancial Operations & Reporting

• Manage customer billing, invoice reconciliation, and revenue recognition processes
• Oversee vendor invoice and employee expense processing
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS
• Generate monthly internal financial statements and related reporting packages

Payroll, Tax & Compliance

• Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR and external providers
• Support tax compliance activities and assist with internal controls documentation
• Ensure financial records and reporting comply with regulatory and corporate standards

Post-Acquisition & Systems Integration

• Support the financial and systems integration of newly acquired entities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align reporting and operational workflows post-M&A

Process Improvement & Special Projects

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation or actively pursuing designation
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS
• Proven ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is considered an asset
