Class 1 Driver

John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, along with accepting a wide range of recyclable material to process. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Help to transport metal products across the Maritimes
• Ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Hauling various metal recycling products
• Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries
• Properly record hours and mileage in logbook
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is mandatory
• Clean Drivers Abstract is mandatory
• Minimum 2 years driving experience in a Class 1 or Class 3 role in Canada is mandatory
• Safety driven mindset
• Clear communication skills
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Saturdays as needed, 6:30am-12pm Pay Range: $24.00/hr - $31.00/hr *Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.* #INDHP Please visit our careers page to see more job opportunities.
