Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Terrioty Manager is responsible for the promotion, strategic positioning and sales sustainable gowth of division's product portofolio among healthcare professionals, primarily specialists in ophthalmology and psychiatry, as well as other specialists bases on product indications. Acting as a trusted business partner within the assigned territory, the Territory Manager is accountable for achieving annual sales objectives through the development and execution of a comprehensive territory business plan. What you will do on daily basis:
- Develop, maintain and expand a strategic network of healthcare professionals and key stakeholders within the assigned territory;
- Acquire and maintain a strong understanding of scientific data, therapeutic indications and clinical practice challenges to support high-quality, evidence-based discussions;
- Identify, segment, and prioritize key customers (KOLs, high-potential prescribers, decision-makers) based on territory potential and strategic objectives;
- Develop, implement, monitor and continuously adapt a territory business plan aligned with commercial goals and strategic priorities;
- Execute approved promotional initiatives to optimize the performance and adoption of assigned products;
- Apply a customer-centric approach that reflects patient needs and real-world clinical practice;
- Navigate effectively within a complex healthcare environment, including competitive dynamics, reimbursement frameworks, hospital systems, and evolving technologies;
- Participate in clinical and strategic discussions related to patient management to reinforce the value proposition of promoted products;
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (sales management, marketing, medical affairs, market access) to ensure cohesive and high-impact execution;
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
The profil we're looking for to succeed in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or any other relevant field;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role selling specialty products;
- An established network or the ability to build strong relationships with specialists in ophthalmology, psychiatry, and/or rheumatology;
- Strong knowledge of the relevant therapeutic areas, including clinical data, indications, and the competitive landscape;
- Good understanding of patient access processes and the commercial dynamics of pharmaceutical products;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills;
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite;
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change on a regular basis;
- Proven commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance;
- Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends and to travel as required (provincially and nationally);
- Valid driver’s license;
It would be a real asset if you also had some of the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Science or Business Administration would be considered an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
