Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accounting Bookkeeper. The role is located in Ottawa, Ontario, but offers some flexibility for working from home. The Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, using accounting software, managing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, generating financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Journal Entries
- Experience with Financial Statements and Finance
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant certification or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
