The Product Owner is responsible for driving the full product development lifecycle — from setting strategic objectives to delivering solutions that create measurable business value. This role bridges business requirements with technology capabilities, ensuring products and services are designed, built, and launched successfully.
The Product Owner leads end-to-end lifecycle management, defining the why, when, and what of the product. This includes persona development, proof of concepts, backlog management, go-to-market readiness, and product retirement. They act as the voice of the business, working with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, create story acceptance criteria, prioritize features, and translate the product vision into a roadmap and actionable deliverables.
Must have:- product road mapping for AI-driven digital investing features- Partner with data science and engineering teams to integrate descriptive AI (e.g., investment analytics, portfolio dashboards) and generative AI (e.g., chatbots, personalized reporting, smart assistants) into the platform.- Explore and champion the use of LLMs and other AI models to improve customer engagement, investor education, and self-serve capabilities- Lead product delivery across core digital investing features such as goal-based investing, trade execution, portfolio management, alerts, and performance tracking.Collaborate with UX teams to ensure frictionless, intuitive, and personalized investor experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.- Communicate product vision, updates, and priorities to stakeholders at all levels.Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the overall vision, strategy, and goals of the product.
- Drive customer experience priorities, focusing on what matters most to end users.
- Ensure product management and development teams operate in sync and deliver efficiently.
- Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams; monitor performance and resolve issues.
- Identify and address adoption blockers, including communications, documentation, and training.
- Develop go-to-market, pricing, and positioning strategies.
- Plan and manage budgets, timelines, and tactical components throughout the product lifecycle.
- Research and analyze market trends to enhance product usability and competitiveness.
- Validate new products or features for desirability, viability, and functionality.
- Provide consulting, analytical, and technical expertise to stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgment to diagnose and solve challenges independently.
- Take ownership of broad accountabilities and adapt to evolving priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Advanced expertise in:
- Product development and lifecycle management (Agile methodologies).
- Value proposition and go-to-market strategy.
- Technology business requirements definition and mapping.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in digital wealth, fintech, or retail investing platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital investing concepts (ETFs, portfolio rebalancing, risk profiling, market data).
- Hands-on experience with AI-enhanced features (analytics dashboards, personalization engines, chatbot interfaces).
- Familiarity with generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT, Claude, Copilot) and their financial services applications.
- Experience with descriptive AI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficiency in writing user stories, leading Agile ceremonies, and managing product backlogs (Jira, ADO).
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
