Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Research Consultant to support marketing research and customer insights programs within a high-performing Customer Experience Centre of Excellence. This role involves overseeing and delivering key research initiatives such as market confidence tracking, pulse surveys, brand tracking studies, and firmographic analysis.
The consultant will work closely with an internal research team to streamline workflows, ensure high-quality outputs, and deliver compelling insights that inform strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, survey programming expertise, and a passion for translating data into clear, actionable narratives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support survey design, programming (Qualtrics), fielding, and reporting across multiple research streams.
- Analyze primary and secondary data (quantitative and qualitative) to uncover meaningful insights aligned with organizational goals.
- Communicate insights effectively to internal stakeholders through engaging reports, presentations, and visual storytelling.
- Conduct firmographic and market-level analysis to support business planning and customer segmentation.
- Drive continuous improvement of research operations, including templates, documentation, and workflows.
- Collaborate with other research team members to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities.
- Support quality assurance and peer reviews to maintain research standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing research roles (client-side or agency/supplier-side).
- Strong foundation in survey design best practices and research methodology.
- Proficiency with quantitative tools and techniques (SPSS, Excel).
- Demonstrated experience with data storytelling and insight communication for diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop and implement customer and market-facing research programs.
Preferred Assets:
- Advanced experience with the Qualtrics Experience Measurement Platform.
- Knowledge of firmographics, trade/economic trends, or international markets.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Bilingualism (English/French).
