The role:

My client are seeking a Trading Systems & Data Support Engineer to join their team in Montreal.

You will provide Support for Trading Systems and Trading Information for the Front Office. This will cover Support, Deployment, Configuration and Monitoring of various applications.

Core skills required:

• 3-5 years of Application Support experience
• Knowledge of Network fundamentals – TCP/IP, Routing, Multicast
• Experience working in Linux / Windows environments
• Some knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript / general Front End knowledge
• Knowledge of JSON, API’s and Docker
• Ability to work shifts where required

Desirable:

• Python / Bash / PowerShell
• Financial Services / Trading applications experience
• Chef / Ansible
• Splunk / Grafana / Kibana / ELK
