Humans of HR is currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Plant Manager to oversee plant operations and lead a high-performing production team.
This role will be responsible for managing daily plant activities, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring production targets, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations including production, manufacturing, and operational processes
- Plan, organize, and direct plant activities to meet production goals and customer expectations
- Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and capacity utilization
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
- Monitor operational metrics and performance targets to optimize plant performance
- Work closely with leadership to implement operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Address employee issues and support strong team leadership and engagement
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in operations or manufacturing leadership
- Previous experience as a Plant Manager, General Manager, or senior operations leader
- Strong understanding of production management, budgeting, and resource planning
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and inventory processes
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills
- Engineering or Operations Management degree preferred
