With a strong reputation for being recruitment specialists with extensive experience in providing staffing services for administrative and professional positions in program management, healthcare, communications, human resources, finance, information technology, policy development, etc.

We are looking to augment our roster of Financial Analysts to support our clients in the public sector.

Typically, the work assignment will be focused on collecting, reviewing, and analysing year-end financial statements and budgets as part of sector monitoring and the government's Public Accounts reporting cycle.

You will be providing financial expertise and analysis to support the consolidation of financial information from the colleges into Ontario government financial statements. You will also be reviewing project cash flows, business plans, providing written analysis and other duties as required by the needs of the role.

Qualifications:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role, and are proficient with Generally Accepted Accounting Standards as set out by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants;
  • Your have extensive experience analyzing financial statements and financial consolidation;
  • You have completed or are working toward a professional designation (i.e, CPA, CMA);
  • You have working knowledge in transfer payment process to review funding requests;
  • You have used Oracle Financials or a similar system in the past to develop financial statement reporting requirements, generate reports, and assess the recording and consolidation of financial information;
  • You are methodical, organized, and excel in a fast-paced environment;
  • You are flexible to go onsite for the duration of the assignment.
