Sales Manager

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top distribution company in Edmonton who needs to hire a Sales Manager to work with their customers in Alberta and British Columbia. To attract the best candidates, my client is offering a competitive pay rate ($100,000 - $120,000/year), and a good benefits program.

This is not a remote opportunity and will require significant travel between clients in the two provinces.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience selling commercial truck or bus parts. Will also consider applicants who have experience selling parts for commercial vehicles that are not automobiles
• Mechanical background will be an asset
• Experience prospecting new clients as well as managing existing accounts
• Flexible to travel across Alberta and BC with occasional trips to Ontario

RESPONSIBILITES

• Prepare and present sales presentations to customers
• Ensure that there is a good pipeline of business
• Make regular sales calls to customers to understand their needs, educate their staff, and assess the business environment
• Provide training to the staff of customers regarding various product lines
• Provide annual sales reviews and present at weekly call reports
