Your New Role
As Vice President, Fund Accounting – Private Assets, you’ll lead a team delivering fund accounting services for complex private equity structures. You’ll oversee operations, manage client relationships, and drive strategic initiatives to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of managers and staff
- Oversee NAV calculations, financial reporting, and investor allocations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
- Manage client relationships and coordinate external audits
- Collaborate with internal teams on onboarding, reporting, and process improvements
- Support strategic projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement
This is a newly created role due to growth, with a clear path to SVP and EVP positions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and a professional designation (CPA, CFA, CA, etc.) is preferred, not required
- 8+ years of experience in public/private equity fund accounting
- Proven leadership experience in a VP or equivalent role, leading a team of 15-20+
- Strong understanding of private equity structures, waterfall calculations, and US GAAP
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with FIS Investran is a strong asset
