Bilingual Senior Guidewire Developer

The Senior GW Developer will have extensive knowledge of Guidewire products with specific skills in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter. He will work with internal/external customers to design, develop, execute programs and/or configuration and integration changes to deliver business functionality within Guidewire. The person will be a leader within the team and will help develop GW's skills and experience with other team members.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Experience with the full SDLC and appreciation of the iterative (Agile) development lifecycle as used in Guidewire implementations
• Expertise in the configuration and development of multiple areas of PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter / Integration
• In-depth understanding of Guidewire's data model
• Experience with GW integration configuration and development (GOSU, rules engine, data model, PCF, workflow, product model development).
• Good exposure to SDLC and Java EE experience.
• Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools
• Experience with application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, and/or Tomcat
• Experience with database servers such as SQL Server, Oracle and/or DB2
• Insurance industry and domain knowledge
• Assertive, lively leadership with the ability to inspire, bring out the best in individuals, and develop a strong setup team to deliver quality setups.
• Excellent communication skills, Onsite Offshore coordination

What you need:

• At least 5 years of experience with Guidewire applications on PC, BC, or CC
• 7-10 years of experience as a developer with experience in team design and leadership
• Experience working on the Guidewire cloud version is appreciated
• Knowledge of configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire pre-built plugins
• Experience with assurance systems and GW capabilities
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and overall strategies around data reuse and integration
• Ability to move work forward, collaborating with sales and technical staff on a daily basis
• A strong sense of customer service and a strong drive to succeed

Senior Bilingual Guidewire Developer
