Are you ready to suit up? The GardaWorld Winnipeg Branch is looking for its next Temporary Full-Time Receptionist & Administrative Support team member. As the first point of contact for all employees and visitors, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting day-to-day administrative operations. This is a temporary role until January 15, 2025 (possible extension). What’s In It For You

  • Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist all visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
  • Maintain visitor access and office security procedures (logbooks, screening, and authorization checks).
  • Keep internal directories and distribution lists updated.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
  • Maintain organized and accurate employee filing systems.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and stationery.
  • Support uniform management — ordering, tracking, and outfitting security staff.
  • Ensure the reception and entry areas remain clean and organized.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and document sorting.
  • Complete other administrative duties as assigned by the branch management team.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced receptionist or administrative role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office software.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move uniforms or supplies as needed.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
