Jobs Program Coordinator 1 – Special Projects – Saskatoon or Prince Albert Location Type Posting Date Closing Date Saskatoon, Prince Albert Full Time Jan 9, 2026 Jan 19, 2026 The Dumont Technical Institute, a Division Of Gabriel Dumont Institute Of Native Studies And Applied Research Invites Applications For The Following Position Program Coordinator 1 – Special ProjectsCompetition Code: 2603 200SP Jan 19Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator – Special Projects will assist with the coordination, delivery, and administration of employment and training services to Métis clients throughout Saskatchewan through our OYATEKI Partnership. Will maintain ongoing relationships with DTI and Provincial Correctional Facilities, by conducting visits to correctional facilities and coordinating programs for multi-barriered individuals. Under the supervision of the Director of Dumont Technical Institute or designate, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing and administering education and employment programs; creating/monitoring budgets and work plans; ensuring base standards are met in the management of all clients; monitoring services/delivery for Métis clients; managing partnerships; liaising with public, private, government and other stakeholder agencies; supervising and managing staff following GDI policies/SGEU Collective Agreement; create resources to support client success in programs; participating in regional labour market needs assessment processes; and other duties as assigned by the Director/designate. Travel within the Province is a requisite of the position. Qualifications: The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Commerce, Social Sciences, Education, Human Resources or another related field; 2 years project and/or government program management; ability to work cooperatively with staff and other agencies; have high interpersonal skills, flexibility and decision-making skills; have good communication; and workload management skills. Extensive understanding of Métis culture; and an excellent understanding of current labour market issues and trends in Saskatchewan.
