Job Description

Posted on: August 24, 2025

FLEURS DE VILLES, based in Vancouver, is growing. Pun intended.

From our launch nine years ago on the west coast of Canada, we have created over 135 luxury pop-up flower shows in 5 countries, in 27 cities and have worked with over 1,400 of the world’s favourite florists, elevating the floral arts globally.

Our brand of floral experiences are in demand, and repeatedly secured by top destinations around the world and aligned with international brand sponsors.

We are passionate about many things: public luxury and place-making, the elevation of floristry as an art form, story-telling, disrupting the status quo, bringing flowers to the people, igniting happiness and well-being and simply encouraging people to stop and smell the roses.

Our purpose is focused. We continue to establish Fleurs de Villes as an international luxury experiential brand – juxtaposed with hyper-local content. In each market we pop up in we bring the top local floral talent together with growers, distributors, inspired partners and luxury brands, cultural groups and institutions and well, just about anyone who loves flowers – meaning our possibility is endless and our team is growing.

We are looking for a dynamic team member to fill a key role at Fleurs de Villes which will keep you on your toes, literally (you may walk 25,000 steps on set up days) and expose you to national and global marketing dynamos with a love of our brand.

There are two areas of clear focus in this position:

Relationship building with our extended floral network. This means using your sales and outreach techniques to work with florists to join us around the world at our fantastic shows. We pay florists an honourarium, they don't pay us, however it is a commitment on the part of florists to join, and you will need to actively engage with florists promoting the benefits of joining us, and work with them through to execution of the installations and the shows.

On site event management. We hope you love to travel to execute events! This position requires you to work with our whole team (logistics, sales, host partners) to execute the show on the ground and manage all aspects of it while there as the on-site manager. We are a well-oiled machine with many processes in place for support and this part of the job gets you out from behind your computer to witness first hand the joy we bring to people, and allows you to work in major cities around the world with some of the top maketing and event talent out there.

In terms of exprience and mind-set, not only do you understand, and can clearly communicate the power of what we offer, but you are logically passionate about connecting our brand story, messaging, content and design assets into the framework of each show we create globally.

You also understand retail and the luxury space and how place-making is reimagining the consumer experience globally. And you love flowers!

That being said, you not only love flowers, but you love putting on events, working the back-end to produce a gorgeous show, and helping to dot the i’s and cross the t’s internally, and you are good at it, really good.

Your role would be primarily focused on working with our florists to seamlessly execute the content we present.

Primarily focused on:

Florist Management: Building deep and trusted relationships with our florists.

  • Researching florists; building our database on Hubspot
  • Create, send and manage florist invitations to participate in our shows

  • Ongoing, dedicated customer service for individual florists for all needs
  • Send professional photography along with appropriate tags & handles

  • Organize florist assets for signage and web (copy, logos and headshots)
  • Working through Asana to assign individual tasks as needed
  • Creating design mock-ups for our florists, partners and team members to visualize the installations at the show

Operations: Working with the florists and the team to execute the final show

  • Working with the Project Manger Logistics in developing a Program Schedule for each show for the florists and team set-up
  • Liaising with Florists before and during the event on set-up and refreshing/maintenance
  • Creating instruction decks/guides for florists
  • Overseeing/inspecting all installations on site
  • Florist Insurances requirements, vehicle registrations
  • Staying on top of needs relating to fixing/maintaining installation platforms
  • Quality control - ensuring the execution matches the detailed planning
  • Set-up and strike of the events managing on site team on occassion

Compensation: $ 65 - $ 70k CDN per year, and all travel expenses covered, with a per diem awarded for travel days.

Additional Benefits through our care plan:

  • Dental care
  • Disability insurance
  • Extended health care

Tell us about your passions, your experience and the vision for your career. We'd love to hear from you. We’d love to know what brands you admire and like too. Send us a video hello too if you would like - this goes a long way in us getting to know you!

Fleurs de Villes is going places, BIG places - there is untapped potential in your future growth with us.
