Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Investment banking Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Investment Banking team. The selected candidate will work on investment banking projects such as comparable company analysis, newsletters, earnings summaries, financial analysis etc.

An important aspect of this role is overseeing the day-to-day work of a team of analysts, setting priorities, reviewing outputs for quality checks and accuracy, and ensuring deadlines are met while managing error-free project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, earnings summaries, benchmarking and newsletters.
• Prepare pitch books, industry overviews, management biographies, brokers’ outlooks, share price performance, evolution of industry / peers’ valuation multiples, and possible buyer / seller opportunities.
• Handle responsibilities such as training and guiding junior and new analysts, maintaining efficiency, working independently on complex projects, and delivering error-free projects and client communications.
• Allocate projects to team members depending on their expertise and skills, resolve their project-related queries, and perform quality checks on client deliverables.
• Conduct on- and off-the-job training sessions for new hires and current team members

Core Competencies

• Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
• Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
• Knowledge of database tools –Refinitiv Eikon, Capital IQ, Factiva, and Bloomberg
• Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firm's goals & mission
• Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working

Required Qualifications

• Post Graduation/ MBA in Finance domain/ CFA/CA
• Proven experience managing and training analysts
• Comfort with task allocation, providing corrective feedback, and escalating issues when necessary
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking domain
• Strong Accounting and financial skills; Good MS Office Skills
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
