Recruitment / HR Administrator

  • 6 to 7 month term -

Explore this opportunity to demonstrate or hone your HR Recruitment skills for a 6-7 month term period! As Recruitment / HR Administrator you will support the HR Team and hiring cycle for our Client, a highly respected Western Canadian organization, with head office in Regina.

You will:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for applicants, provide updates and ensure a professional, positive experience for all candidates.
  • Assist in job description preparation, career postings on job boards and ensure the applicant tracking system database is up to date on a daily basis.
  • Respond to candidate enquiries by phone or email, pre-screen candidates, book interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates and the hiring managers. Ensure a smooth, compliant and efficient process.
  • Coordinate events, employee recognition programs, education enrollment and ensure all employee files are accurate and up to date.
  • Enter data, review and update spreadsheets, benefits updates, compensation reports, etc.
  • Facilitate new hire paperwork and prepare for employee orientation.

As the selected candidate, you will bring:

  • Diploma/Degree/Certificate in human resources or related training/experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a human resource generalist and/or recruitment function.
  • Familiarity with payroll is an asset but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS/ATS systems. Dayforce experience is an asset.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality, with a creative mindset to remain organized, multi-task and meet changing priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions, templates and procedures.
  • A commitment to serve as a professional HR representative following company procedures, employment standards, confidentiality and compliance.

Regina (Head Office) downtown location.

Start for a 6-7 month term, estimated end of Aug, mid Sept.

Mon-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
