DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton and Home2 Suites by Hilton West Edmonton are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Corporate Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team.
This dual-property role is focused on growing corporate business, business travel accounts, extended-stay opportunities, project and crew room demand, and local negotiated accounts across both hotels. The successful candidate will be proactive, polished, organized, and comfortable building relationships with corporate clients, project managers, travel arrangers, executive assistants, procurement teams, and business leaders.

Position overview
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for driving room revenue for both DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton and Home2 Suites by Hilton West Edmonton through proactive sales activity, account development, client relationship management, and strategic business development.
This role will focus on identifying, securing, and growing corporate and business travel accounts, with an emphasis on local negotiated accounts, project-based business, extended-stay opportunities, corporate groups, and crew room demand.
The Corporate Sales Manager works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Regional Director of Revenue Management, front office, reservations, catering, and operations teams to ensure a seamless client and guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and secure new corporate, business travel, project, crew, and extended-stay accounts
- Manage and grow existing local and national corporate accounts
- Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, client appointments, networking, and account maintenance activity
- Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and issue agreements within approved guidelines
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets and weekly sales activity goals
- Maintain accurate account activity, traces, notes, and opportunities in Delphi or applicable hotel systems
- Support annual corporate account renegotiations and rate strategy
- Identify opportunities to shift and maximize business between DoubleTree and Home2 Suites based on client needs
- Build strong relationships with travel arrangers, procurement contacts, project leads, executive assistants, and corporate decision-makers
- Participate in sales blitzes, client events, trade shows, and community networking opportunities
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure client expectations are communicated and delivered
- Provide market feedback, competitive insights, and ideas to support sales and marketing strategies
- Respond professionally to client feedback and support continuous improvement in service delivery
What we are looking for
- A positive, professional, and service-focused attitude
- Strong sales, prospecting, and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing corporate, business travel, project, crew, or extended-stay accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team
- Understanding of hotel operations, reservations, revenue management, and guest service
- Comfort working with corporate clients and presenting to decision-makers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Delphi or similar hotel sales systems considered an asset
- Experience in branded hotel sales is preferred
Education and experience
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of professional sales experience
- Hotel sales experience is preferred
- Corporate, business travel, extended-stay, or account management experience is considered a strong asset
Working conditions
- Primarily office-based with regular outside sales activity
- Some evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required based on business needs
- Occasional business travel, client events, and networking required
- Must be able to attend property tours and spend periods of time walking or standing
