Program Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and certified Finance Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives across joint ventures, monetization efforts, mergers, divestitures, and capital markets projects. This role requires deep experience managing finance-driven corporate development programs and the ability to orchestrate multiple stakeholders in fast-paced, high-visibility environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong finance and accounting foundation (CPA or equivalent preferred), exceptional project leadership skills, and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach grounded in recognized project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of strategic JV-related finance projects, ensuring structured planning, disciplined execution, and timely milestone delivery.
• Drive execution of corporate development initiatives including joint ventures, refinancing, and capital markets transactions in partnership with treasury and capital markets teams.
• Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, tracking mechanisms, and documentation standards across all initiatives.
• Coordinate comprehensive due diligence across financial, tax, legal, and operational workstreams, ensuring accuracy, organization, and repository maintenance.
• Maintain momentum and accountability through rigorous follow-up with internal teams, external advisors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk registers, ensuring proactive issue identification and escalation.
• Build and oversee resource plans across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Plan and manage cutover activities to ensure seamless transition and readiness for transaction close.
• Deliver clear, consistent, and timely communication to stakeholders, including executive-level reporting.
• Apply recognized project management methodologies (PMP, PMI, PRINCE2, or similar) to ensure structure, rigor, and consistency across all programs.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of project management experience in corporate development, capital markets, or related finance environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in joint ventures, monetization, capital markets, and divestitures.
• Strong knowledge of due diligence processes (financial, tax, legal).
• Proficiency with planning and project tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

Preferred Technical Skills

• CPA qualification or equivalent professional accounting designation.
• Prior experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or operations before moving into project management.
• Experience collaborating with investment banks, legal counsel, tax advisors, and consulting partners.

Nice to Have

• Experience within large-scale or global organizations.
• Familiarity with capital structure optimization or refinancing projects.
