Description We are looking for a talented Project Manager Sales to join our team specializing in sales for our Project Management Unit in Calgary, AB or Vancouver, BC. Job Summary Manages, develops, and implements project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. Partners with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive Strategic Execution: You'll lead multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering measurable outcomes that support organizational success.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: By organizing and guiding project planning sessions, you'll bring together diverse stakeholders to define clear objectives and foster shared ownership.
  • Establish and Track Performance Metrics: You'll set performance goals and monitor progress against timelines and milestones, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver value.
  • Resolve Complex Challenges: Your ability to identify, track, and resolve project issues will minimize disruptions and keep teams focused on outcomes.
  • Manage Budgets and Resources Effectively: Through careful planning and analysis, you'll optimize project budgets and allocate resources strategically to maximize efficiency.
  • Mitigate Risks Proactively: Using quality tools and collaborative problem-solving, you'll identify risks early and implement solutions that protect project integrity.
  • Promote Knowledge Sharing: By documenting learnings and drawing from other teams' experiences, you'll contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members: You'll guide team members through project stages, provide developmental feedback, and help build a high-performing, engaged workforce.

ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong Financial Acumen: Understand and interpret key financial indicators to make informed decisions about project budgets, resource allocation, and ROI. This ensures your projects are not only delivered on time but also within budget and aligned with business value.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Deliver clear, tailored messages to different audiences—from stakeholders to team members—ensuring alignment, transparency, and trust throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring that project outcomes meet their needs and expectations. This includes integrating customer perspectives into planning and execution.
  • Advanced Project Management Expertise: Apply best practices in scope, schedule, resource, and risk management. Use tools and methodologies (like PMP standards) to lead projects from inception to completion while balancing competing priorities.
  • Conflict and Complexity Management: Navigate complex information and conflicting priorities with confidence. Use structured problem-solving and conflict resolution techniques to maintain momentum and team cohesion.
  • Strategic Planning and Alignment: Prioritize tasks and resources to meet deadlines and organizational goals. Your ability to plan and align work will be key to delivering high-impact results.
  • Risk and Issue Management Proficiency: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks early using recommended tools. Drive proactive solutions to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.
  • Team Leadership and Knowledge Sharing: Guide and coach team members, share lessons learned, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and cross-team learning.

Education, Licenses, Certifications College, university, or equivalent degree required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required. Qualifications

  • PMP Certification will be an asset.
  • Any relevant education will be taken into consideration.
  • Promote Knowledge Sharing: You’ll document lessons learned and share insights across teams, helping to build a knowledge base that improves future project execution.
  • Deliver Transparent Communication: Through regular status updates and stakeholder engagement, you’ll maintain trust and clarity, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned throughout the project
  • Strong Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to lead complex power generation projects through all phases—planning, execution, monitoring, and closure—while managing scope, budget, and timelines effectively.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, is required.

Compensation And Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
