Job DescriptionOverview
The successful candidate will join the Field Compensation and Sales Reporting (FCSR) team, which is responsible for maintaining accurate reporting, managing and reviewing sales staff compensation, communicating compensation details to the sales team, and calculating and processing variable compensation payments.
This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a wide variety of tasks and gain exposure to senior management and leadership. It provides valuable networking opportunities and exposure to different technologies and databases. The candidate will also gain hands-on experience with Power BI dashboards, a widely used tool in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise payments and bonus validation for sales staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Streamline and automate operational processes that limit productivity.
- Assist in developing risk and control strategies.
- Monitor the progress of system development and enhancements.
- Support risk and compliance reporting.
- Deliver and present monthly sales forecasts to business leaders, providing valuable analysis and clear commentary on results.
- Use sound judgment to handle unexpected issues and requests, prioritizing effectively and balancing resources to achieve solutions.
- Foster an innovative environment by supporting creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) and/or CFA with 3+ years of relevant experience in progressive accounting or financial reporting roles.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, negotiate, and influence effectively.
- Self-starter with solid independent judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Results-oriented, able to manage expectations, work under tight deadlines, and handle competing priorities with strong organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Excellent customer focus and commitment to quality, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of information for senior management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Power BI and database systems is an asset.
Education
- University degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
