Position Overview
As a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO) team, the Project Coordinator is responsible for monitoring project and proposal status, analyzing data, recommending solutions, and making decisions that support client objectives. Our organization is experiencing significant growth and would benefit from a candidate with industry experience in communication and technology. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, along with the ability to manage time sensitive workloads through effective multitasking and prioritization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Managers to implement the project and proposal procedures in a disciplined and organized manner.
- Support the project managers in coordinating and tracking project and proposal activities to ensure schedules and deliverables are achieved.
- Maintain and update project schedules, budgets, forecasts and status reports.
- Monitor project costs and progress, identify variances and prepare ad hoc reports for project managers to support project oversight.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of contractual matters related to assigned projects and proposals.
- Other duties as required within the context of the role.
Qualifications
- A Degree or Diploma in a related discipline, preferably in project management or finance.
- A minimum of 2-3 years working in a project controls environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Projects.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency working with numbers, including budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking.
- Demonstrates strong prioritization skills supported by excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to manage a demanding and deadline driven workload effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Additional Requirements
- The ability to meet the requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program is mandatory.
- The ability to receive a Government of Canada Security Clearance.
- This is a hybrid opportunity, and the successful applicant will work hybrid out of our Saskatoon facility.
Compensation
$50,000 - $65,000 per annum
