Salary Range (but Not Limited To) 59,300 - 72,500 Incentive plan Annual bonus: 7.5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance) As part of our commitment to Win As A Team, we share our success with employees through our incentive programs and Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – with BrokerLink matching a portion of your contributions. Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join BrokerLink and work out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario or Atlantic region. On a Permanent FT Basis. Reporting to Learning & Development, National Commercial Insurance. Trains and develops employees in multiple disciplines in commercial insurance. Prepares, supports, and trains employees in delivering exceptional customer service increasing individual productivity and building various skills and competencies. Aligns training with current strategic objectives. Adheres to department, program and regulatory policies and procedures. What The Role Entails

  • At an advanced level, educates employees through multiple L & D Disciplines in Commercial Insurance.
  • At an advanced level, research, create, prepare, and present educational materials in Commercial Insurance.
  • Supports and promotes the adoption and application of workplace learning.
  • Ongoing administrative management on existing and completed training courses and programs. Supports colleagues in developing these skills.
  • Consistently participating in program planning in collaboration with team members and external stakeholders. Identifying and developing solutions to fill training gaps locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Consistently participating in various projects within the L&D department and other departments.
  • Success Partner to other Learning & Development Specialists.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply*
  • Continuing education related to Commercial Insurance.
  • CAIB 1, 2 & 3 or 5 CIP Courses.
  • Continuing education related to creation and teaching of instructor led training.
  • Insurance License in province of work required.
  • Project management certification is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of Insurance experience as a Commercial Insurance Advisor
  • Strong customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Facilitation and teaching abilities
  • Technical Knowledge: EPIC, MS Office Suite, Insurer Portal use, various program delivery platforms. Program creation, Agile & Waterfall PM Methodology
