Brandt Corporate services is currently looking to fill a Web Content Specialist role in our Regina, SK location. This role is temporary. The Web Content Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of website content for products and promotions, maintenance of Brandt websites, developing and collaborating to create the visual presentation, layout and functionality of the website, and the overall website experience. Marketing strategy for online tactics and new applications will also be a part of this role. This role will also serve as a web advisor to the Brandt marketing team, and reports to the Manager of Web Content. Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with and collaborate on establishing web style guidelines, templates, designs, and standards to ensure consistency with brand image and content standards.
- Optimize, improve, and create web features, designs, and functions.
- Ensure the website is easy to use, and the information is easy to access.
- Track, plan, and optimize data-driven improvement initiatives, proposing and contributing ideas for pages, promotions, user journeys, designs, content, or site sections during strategy planning and performance discussions
- Ideate and brainstorm with various teams to create the best possible website experience.
- Work with marketing team to ensure online advertisements are linking and measured correctly on website.
- Create and implement personalization, personas and website user journey strategies.
- Create and acquire content for new products, programs, promotions, divisions, and new web layouts while maintaining consistent branding.
- Conduct keyword research, identify and leverage organic opportunities, and optimize on-page SEO. Implement SEO strategies, optimize existing content, create new content based on keyword research, and track/report outcomes.
- Work with marketing team members in updating news, testimonials, events, and company locations.
- Manage new, discontinued, and existing product information to ensure content is up to date.
- Work with business stakeholders to determine product information and development needs, documenting requirements in clear and easy-to-understand language.
- Monitor & maintain schedule for all web and design work with various vendors, technology staff, and marketing.
- Assist in the testing of website development initiatives.
