The Sales Representative - Alberta is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence across the province. This position is responsible for building strong relationships with retail partners, promoting our products, and implementing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct instore retailer meetings, create brand awareness, execute product education sessions, and setup/provide POS displays
- Developing relationships with new and existing customers
- Report market insights and consumer feedback to Manager
- Gain an understanding of the cannabis market and provide feedback on new product ideas
- Promote BOLD’s products at industry events
- Work with Manager to create an efficient sales route
- Reach targets on in-store SKU activations, product placement and POS displays
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Retail Sales experience required (cannabis, alcohol, or tobacco is a big plus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs and motivators
- Ability to build effective relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Smart Choices Cannabis Retail Certification
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license is a must
- Cell Phone
Work Conditions
- 80% of time in field
- Some evenings/weekends as required
