Body Energy Club (BEC) is a growing health and wellness retailer specializing in nutritional supplements, smoothies, and healthy food. Our BEC brand includes more than 120 natural health products across protein, sports nutrition, vitamins, minerals, and everyday wellness—and we are continuing to grow.
We are looking for a commercially minded, highly resourceful product leader to help develop the next generation of BEC products while continuously improving our existing portfolio.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves health and wellness products and enjoys turning ideas into results.
You will work directly with our Founder and CEO, executive team, manufacturers, regulatory professionals, and an experienced product consultant. You will be involved throughout the product journey:
Idea → Research → Formula → Samples → Costing → Regulatory/NPN → Packaging → Manufacturing → Training → Launch → Performance Analysis
This is not a traditional management position with a large team to delegate to. You must be comfortable moving between strategy and execution—whether that means researching a new ingredient, comparing formulas, updating a project tracker, testing samples, negotiating costs, or following up with a manufacturer.
One week, you may be researching the next electrolyte formula. The next, you could be reviewing protein samples, coordinating an NPN project, or creating a product-training module for store employees.
- Research emerging ingredients, categories, flavours, formats, and consumer trends.
- Maintain an active pipeline of new product ideas and portfolio improvements.
- Benchmark BEC products against leading Canadian, U.S. and international brands.
- Compare formulas, ingredients, dosages, claims, sizes, flavours, pricing and overall value.
- Identify opportunities for new products, reformulations, extensions or improved positioning.
- Create product briefs and work with manufacturers on formulas and specifications.
- Coordinate samples, taste tests, quotes, minimum orders, and lead times.
- Support packaging, artwork, and product launches.
- Keep projects moving by identifying delays, following up, and finding solutions.
- Work with regulatory consultants and manufacturers on NPN applications and amendments.
- Gather documentation and monitor outstanding regulatory requirements.
- Review formulas, ingredients, labels, and proposed claims.
- Help coordinate compliant packaging and labelling.
- Maintain organized regulatory and product records.
- Investigate quality concerns and work with partners through resolution.
You do not need to know every regulatory answer yourself. You do need practical familiarity with Canadian Natural Health Product requirements and the resourcefulness to find answers, involve the right experts, and follow through.
Commercial and portfolio performance- Monitor sales, units, growth, margins, product costs, inventory, pricing, and store performance.

- Highly organized and comfortable with accountability.
- Persistent about moving projects forward.

You will have the opportunity to introduce ideas, challenge existing approaches, and see products move from an initial conversation to something customers can purchase in our stores.
If you love health and wellness products, have high standards, and get satisfaction from making things happen, we would like to meet you.
