We are committed to delivering life’s essential services while building stronger communities. As a values‑driven workplace grounded in caring, integrity, agility, safety, collaboration, and striving for excellence, you’ll be part of an organization that values trust, accountability, and inclusion, encourages fresh thinking, and supports continuous learning and growth. About the Role: As an HR Business Partner you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping a positive, high-impact employee experience and supporting leaders across our corporate and energy systems businesses. As a trusted partner, you’ll deliver both practical and strategic HR guidance – translating business priorities into people solutions that drive performance, engagement, and organizational health. This role offers a dynamic mix of hands‑on execution and strategic contribution. You’ll support leaders and employees across the full HR lifecycle including employee relations, talent development and succession, performance enablement and compensation. At the same time, you’ll contribute to broader initiatives that strengthen culture, capability, and modern ways of working. Working closely with leadership teams and HR colleagues, you’ll help ensure HR programs are delivered consistently, thoughtfully, and in alignment with business objectives. If you’re energized by variety, value collaboration and building strong relationships, and are motivated by making meaningful impact through people‑centered solutions, this role offers the opportunity to grow your career while contributing to work that truly matters. What You Get to Do:

  • Translate business priorities into people solutions that strengthen performance, engagement, and culture
  • Advise leaders on employment practices, policy interpretation, and employment legislation, balancing business needs with a people focused approach
  • Champion the consistent application and continuous evolution of HR programs, policies, and practices that strengthen employee experience and organizational effectiveness
  • Coach and support leaders through performance discussions, goal setting, development planning – building confidence and capability at various levels.
  • Facilitate thoughtful career development and succession planning discussions that help employees see their career paths and leaders build strong, sustainable teams
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and leadership teams to deliver integrated, business‑aligned people solutions that support our organizational ambitions
  • Lead and support change management initiatives tied to organizational and business transformation, helping employees navigate change with clarity
  • Leverage HR data and insights to identify trends, diagnose challenges and recommend proactive evidence-based solutions
  • Provide guidance on complex employee situations, including accommodation, return‑to‑work, and disability management in partnership with Health & Safety and Disability teams

What You Bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, Psychology, or a related field, with a CHRP designation (or in progress)
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to a broad range of HR practices; experience in unionized environments is an asset
  • Solid working knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience across employee relations, performance enablement, compensation, talent development, and change management
  • Digitally fluent, with strong working knowledge of MS Office and HR technology platforms (Oracle Cloud experience is an asset)
  • Trusted relationship‑builder with proven coaching and influencing skills, able to partner effectively with leaders at all levels, with a strong focus on collaboration
  • Insight‑driven and analytical, using HR data, trends, and metrics to inform decisions and recommend practical solutions
  • Clear, confident communicator with the professionalism, discretion, and judgment needed to navigate sensitive situations
  • Highly adaptable and well‑organized, thriving in fast‑paced, evolving environments and managing competing priorities

What We Offer:

  • A culture based on caring, safety, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence
  • Competitive compensation
  • Flex benefits
  • Tuition assistance program
  • Training and mentorship programs
  • Charitable donation matching
