Arne’s Welding Ltd. manufactures state-of-the-art transport trailers supported by a Canada-wide chain of service and repair facilities. Our trailers have earned the reputation for low maintenance, minimal downtime, and excellent resale value.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to grow Arne’s product sales by supporting dealers in securing and increasing sales, managing direct sales accounts, developing new dealership opportunities and exploring new products that can be produced in-house.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Expands dealership network according to mutual agreed standards including territory, planned sales of dealerships, etc.
· Expand house accounts on ETO (Engineer to Order) products in underserved markets.
· Identifies opportunities for product improvement, new products, or new markets for standard and ETO products.
· Assists dealerships with sales/customer service calls to major existing or potential customers to secure deals and maintain long relationships/loyalty with product line.
· Support the Sales Department in meeting demands of an evolving customer base more efficiently.
· Parts Sales as required - Back up for parts counter sales as required
QUALIFICATIONS:Experience and education:
· Must have one of the following:
o 3 to 5 years as a manufacturing sales representative
o 3 to 5 years of experience in sales pertaining to the Trailer or Construction Industry.
· 3 years of experience in dealership territory sales management
· Knowledge of current or potential territories and customer base an asset.
· Business education or training an asset.
· Marketing education an asset
· Valid Equipment Salesperson’s Permit or Ability to Obtain
Skills:
· Sales and customer service focused
· Ability to work in a team environment including working with related companies
· Attention to detail, organization and follow-up
· Easily builds rapport and relationships with people at all levels
· Strong negotiation and listening skills
· Demonstrates confidence, drive, a sense of urgency and integrity
· Mechanical aptitude and basic ability to read engineer drawings
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Valid passport or the ability to obtain quickly
· Valid driver’s license and vehicle (Class 1 with air is an asset)
· Ability to travel when required (approximately 20-25%)
