Customer Service Representative

Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Customer Service Representative at our Regina**,** Saskatchewan location. In this role, you will provide our customers with expert assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to get customers’ business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with the right parts and/or solutions – especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You may also occasionally have hands-on duties that will require mechanical aptitude. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Inside Sales responsibilities
• Directly engaged in all sales activities
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
• Prospecting for new customers and demonstrate product benefits
• Build ongoing relationships with customers
• Responding to customer product inquiries both in person (branch) and via phone/email
• Providing support to the outside sales force
• Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• 2 or more years of Industrial or Fluid Power components sales experience
• Self-motivated
• Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed
• Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Analytical and problem-solving capability
• Computer literacy with focus on Outlook, Word, Excel, etc
• SAP experience would be an asset
