Ontario region pay information The salary range for this position in Ontario is $80,000 to $130,000. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills and competencies, and unique qualifications. Your role, your impact As a Project Manager, you’ll lead and deliver strategic initiatives within the financial services sector. You’ll manage complex projects, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive successful outcomes in highly regulated environments. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to provide trusted project management and consulting services. Your day-to-day
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation to completion within financial enterprises;
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Structure projects for success, ensuring proper resourcing, budgeting, and governance;
- Manage delivery and implementation of projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met;
- Communicate effectively with clients and technical teams to understand needs and align solutions;
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations with clear messaging and storylines;
- Identify and resolve project issues using strong tactical and strategic thinking;
- Act as a change agent, leading teams through transformation and driving results;
- Produce status reports, dashboards, and project documentation for senior leadership;
- Step into projects with minimal guidance and define actionable plans to achieve objectives.
Keys to your success
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing projects within financial enterprises (banking, insurance, or fintech);
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management practices;
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid);
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to manage projects of varying sizes and complexity;
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira);
- Results-driven, flexible, and comfortable working in dynamic environments.
Extra edge
- Experience with Capital Markets or regulatory projects;
- PMP, or equivalent certification;
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and emerging financial technologies.
