What’s Involved In The Machine Operator Role

• Working varied shifts
• Running different machines involved in milk production
• Take inventory on request
• Perform any other tasks related to this position
• Machine setup
• Coordinating production run with packaging and ingredients
• Hand packing production
• Build / stack production
• Cleanup and changeovers
• Machine operation

Work schedule could be 5 x 8 hour shifts OR 4 x 10 hour shifts per week at our 24/7 facility. You need to be available to work a combination of days, nights, and graveyard shifts and schedules will vary week to week.What You Need To Join Our Team Applicants must be willing and able to work all shifts at our 24/7 facility.

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and do basic math
• Availability to work all shifts (day, afternoon, graveyard)
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and nights
• Ability to follow standard operational procedures and work in a safe manner
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong customer service orientation

Previous work experience in food production is not required but is considered an asset. Qualifications

• Dairy Worker License considered an asset
• A good personal attendance record
• A good personal safety record
• Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member
• Ability to multitask and to coordinate his efforts with the other pasteurizers
• Must have good written and oral communication skills
• Previous experience maintaining production, quality and safety documentation
• Proven ability of effectively using down time for servicing of production equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Proven ability to maintain a safe and clean workplace
• Self-directed and enthusiastic work attitude
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by management
