A $1.4 million investment is set to create six new good-paying jobs in Tecumseh, Ontario, as True Phantom Solutions Inc. expands its capacity and product lines. The company, which manufactures highly realistic medical simulation phantoms that replicate the physical, mechanical, and imaging properties of human and animal tissue and bones, will receive a $188,816 grant from the Ontario government through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund.

“Ontario is proud to support True Phantom Solutions Inc. as it expands its manufacturing capacity and develops innovative new medical simulation products right here in Tecumseh,” said Andrew Dowie, MPP for Windsor-Tecumseh. “Through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund, our government is helping local manufacturers invest in advanced technology, bring new products to market, and strengthen our region’s reputation as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing.”

The investment will also support the development of new medical simulation products, including a female full-body and torso phantom, as well as a small dog phantom. These products are used for medical training and research, providing realistic simulations for healthcare professionals.

“Employing more than 800,000 workers across the province, Ontario’s manufacturing sector is the economic engine of our nation,” said Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade. “Our government is proud to support local companies like True Phantom Solutions as they expand their operations, and we thank them for their contributions to Ontario’s dynamic and growing manufacturing ecosystem.”

This investment highlights Ontario's commitment to fostering innovation and job creation in the manufacturing sector, particularly in advanced medical technologies.
