Explore a Range of Careers at the Innisfil Job Fair
Join us at the Innisfil ideaLAB and Library’s Lakeshore branch on March 19 from 2 to 6 p.m. for the annual Innisfil Job and Career Fair. This event is organized by the Town of Innisfil Economic Development Office in partnership with Agilec Innisfil, showcasing a variety of employment opportunities.
Mayor Lynn Dollin emphasizes that Innisfil is not just a great place to live, but also offers a wide range of local job opportunities. This fair is a fantastic chance for residents to discover what’s available right in their community.
What to Expect
- Full-time, part-time, seasonal, and student positions will be available.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and cover letters for networking and exploration.
Last year, the fair featured 25 businesses, promoting around 200 job postings, and attracted over 400 job seekers. This year, new employers like DSV Global Transport and Logistics, which is constructing a massive 1.3-million-square-foot facility along Highway 400, will participate.
Rob Chanona, managing director of DSV Solutions in Canada, states, “DSV is proud to be building our future growth in Innisfil.” The facility is expected to open in July and will create approximately 225 new jobs, ranging from senior roles to general warehousing positions.
