Expert Analysis on Employment Trends
Sun Chuanwang, a professor at Xiamen University, noted that the 2026 spring job market is characterized by a relatively ample supply of jobs, especially in emerging industries. This trend indicates that China's industrial transformation and the development of new quality productive forces have begun to yield positive results.
"These jobs will also likely be better paid than those in traditional sectors," Sun added, highlighting the economic benefits of this employment shift.
Government Support and Infrastructure
The annual Central Economic Work Conference emphasized the importance of securing steady development across employment, businesses, markets, and expectations. To facilitate work resumption after the holidays, transportation services have been enhanced, with 150,000 people transported through chartered buses, trains, and planes across the country as of February 26.
