We’re looking for a driven, well-connected Business Development Manager – Major Accounts to lead our growth. This is more than a sales role—it’s a market leadership opportunity where you will build relationships from the ground up and directly shape our success in Canada.
🔧 What You’ll Do
As our BDM – Major Accounts, you will own the full sales cycle and act as a key driver of our expansion strategy.
📈 Market Development & Lead Generation
✅ Build and manage a strong pipeline of major account opportunities
✅ Identify untapped prospects and convert them into long-term partners
✅ Own the full sales process—from prospecting to closing
🎯 Strategic Sales Leadership
✅ Align solutions with Canadian market standards and customer requirements
✅ Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with dealer networks
✅ Provide market intelligence to influence product and business strategy
💼 Commercial Insight & Collaboration
✅ Partner with leadership on growth targets and forecasting
✅ Contribute to pricing strategy and competitive positioning
✅ Drive revenue growth through strategic account development
🤝 Customer & Industry Engagement
✅ Represent XCMG Canada Ltd. at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
✅ Build strong relationships with contractors, procurement teams, and key stakeholders
✅ Establish yourself as a trusted advisor in the industry
🔍 What You Bring
✔️ 5+ years of Major Accounts / Strategic Sales experience (mandatory)
✔️ Strong network within construction, road building, or mining sectors
✔️ Proven ability to work independently and deliver results
✔️ Solid technical understanding of heavy equipment and operations
✔️ Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
✔️ Strong reputation and credibility within the industry
✔️ Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
