As a Structural Drafter with a focus on Power Generation experience, you’ll join a powerhouse group of innovators, problem‑solvers, and world‑builders who thrive on tackling complex challenges across renewable energy, power generation, and energy‑modernization projects. Here, your expertise won’t just support projects—it will energize entire systems and play a key role in building resilient, future‑ready solutions that advance our clients’ missions and strengthen the communities we serve. This position can be located in any of our Canadian offices, with preference for our BC and AB locations. Your Impact

  • Develop accurate structural engineering drawings including - piling layouts/schedules, concrete layouts/details, structural steel layouts/details and architectural building drawings —based on engineering sketches.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines such as Piping and Electrical to coordinate design development, identify and resolve issues.
  • Contribute actively to the checking process by critically reviewing markups.
  • Use various 3D/CAD software to produce Bills of Material and Pile Schedules.
  • Implement revisions based on markups from Engineers, Checkers, and Leads.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for drawings and models per department, project, and client guidelines.
  • You’ll assist in the training of less experienced drafting personnel.
  • Visit Construction site to assist in construction reviews, if required.
  • You’ll help foster a supportive and communicative team environment characterized by ownership and camaraderie.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Engineering Design & Drafting Technology (EDDT) diploma
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Power Generation projects experience required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx, SP3D, Navis, MS Office, Bluebeam and SharePoint.
  • Diligent and organized: deliver high-quality work on time and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable multitasker: effectively juggle priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Enthusiastic problem-solver: embrace challenges and proactively find solutions.
  • Communicator and learner: clearly convey and comprehend technical, business, and administrative ideas.
  • Coachable team player: open to guidance and expertise from senior staff.

CompensationBC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $77,400 – $102,500MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200Atlantic Provinces & QC: $69,900 – $92,900Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
