Senior Accountant / Full-Cycle Accounting

About Us

Wright Freeman Logistics is a growing transportation and logistics company operating throughout Canada and the United States.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of our accounting department and help build the financial structure required to support our continued growth.

This is a hands on position for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility, improving processes, and operating with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting

• Accounts Receivable (A/R)

• Accounts Payable (A/P)

• Payroll administration

• GST/QST filings

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Month-end and year-end preparation

• Financial statement preparation

• Cash flow management and reporting

• Multi-currency accounting

• QuickBooks management

• Process improvement and SOP creation

• Financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

• Full-cycle accounting experience

• Strong QuickBooks knowledge

• Payroll experience

• Strong organizational skills

• High attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Assets

• Transportation or logistics industry experience

• Multi-currency accounting experience

• Experience building accounting systems and processes
