Control System Engineer

Overview

We have an immediate need for an Electrical Instrumentation Technologist or Control Systems Engineer. 4 month full time contract with opportunity for overtime, starts beginning of December 2025 and goes to end of March 2026.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience designing of control and power systems. Marine or Industrial experience would be preferred. Experience in design of motor control, electrical power distribution, instrumentation. HVAC systems, hydraulic control systems, would also be a benefit. Duties include:

-Design of control systems (automation/controls)

-Wiring schematics

-Block diagrams

-Panel layouts

-I/O lists

Compensation will be $45-50 per hour for candidates able to demonstrate competency with required duties.

Requirements

-Electrical/Instrumentation Controls Engineer with design experience.

-Proven ability to develop and improve technical documentation and engineering processes.

-Strong understanding of drawings.

-Problem-solving skills and ability to plan and manage projects.

-Experienced in creating engineering drawings using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks.

-Good communicator with fluency in written and verbal English.

-Strong time management skills and ability to hit deadlines.

-Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada.

-Based in Greater Vancouver area and ready for immediate start.
