Join a the team and help Regina reduce waste while empowering neighbours through hands‑on repair and reuse. Location In-Person Regina, Saskatchewan When Opportunity Type Ongoing - Start Anytime Schedule Flexible About This Opportunity Repair people are the magical beings who look at a toaster that’s been smoking like a 90s nightclub and say, “Yeah, I can fix that.” They speak fluent mysterious‑rattle, can identify screws by touch alone, and possess the ancient wisdom required to reassemble something with “extra parts” left over. At the Repair Café, they perform feats of everyday heroism: rescuing lamps from the brink, convincing zippers to behave, and coaxing vacuum cleaners back from whatever emotional spiral they were in. They don’t just fix things, they restore hope, dignity, and the belief that maybe, just maybe, your blender isn’t out to get you.
