Financial Analyst/Business Manager

Vision Talent is working with one of Canada's leading banks, they are seeking a Financial Analyst/Business Manager to join their growing team.

This is an initial 12 month contract term and requires conversational French.

The successful candidate will provide critical support for business management activities and portfolio governance. This role focuses on ensuring financial discipline, organizational structure, and transparent reporting while driving process improvements across multiple technology portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Reporting
• Prepare standard monthly financial reports for assigned technology portfolios
• Manage the accuracy and timelines of all technology cost allocations to the business.
• Budget planning, forecasting, analysis of cost trends, variance research and explanations, management of reporting adjustments for portfolio
• Vendor & Contract Management
• Oversee vendor contracts (3rd party license, professional services) and resource tracking ensuring timely contract renewals and payments
• Manage vendor invoice processes, including forecasting, validation, approval workflows, and reconciliations
• Support headcount planning activities by tracking teams staffing levels, hiring plans

Required Technical Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong reconciliation and financial analysis capabilities
• Auditing experience and attention to detail
• Cost accounting

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, project management, or business operations
• Previous experience in technology or financial services environment preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
