Job Title: BookkeeperJob Type: Permanent position, 5 days on-site, Calgary, Alberta.Job Salary: $55,000 - $70,000Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. This is a permanent, full-time, in-office role where you will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and reporting functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to support clients across a wide variety of industries and ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations. This role offers exposure to a collaborative, mentorship-driven team culture with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Process payments and handle accounts payable/receivable (light volume)
  • Perform accounts receivable collections and follow-ups as required
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for clients
  • Manage intercompany transactions and high-volume processing for a diverse client base
  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects and reporting needs
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements (GST, payroll, etc.)

Systems & Tools

  • QuickBooks Online (primary system)
  • Dext, Hubdoc, Caseware
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional bookkeeping experience
  • Strong experience with payment processing and A/R collections
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping Certificate (Fathom certification an asset)
  • Experience with GST filings, payroll, or personal tax forms is an asset
  • Strong Excel skills; comfort with accounting software and cloud-based tools
