You Are We’re looking for a Back End Full Stack Developer who thrives in modern, AI accelerated engineering environments and wants to build highly scalable systems used by millions. This role blends hands on backend engineering, cloud native architecture, and AI assisted development, with opportunities to influence team culture and delivery practices. The Opportunity

• Architect and develop high performance, reusable, and maintainable services
• Contribute to frontend development using Angular (React experience is a plus)
• Implement and evolve cloud native solutions using AWS, Azure, or OpenShift
• Work in high frequency CI/CD environments, shipping to production daily
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions
• Mentor teammates, promote healthy team dynamics, and foster an inclusive engineering culture

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required. What You Need

• Strong backend expertise with Java or Node.js
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI specifications
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Angular (React is a plus)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OpenShift)
• Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Expert level Git skills (branching, merging, code reviews)
• Experience translating Figma designs into production ready UI
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring tools
• DevOps & Automation
• Proven experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design
• Strong focus on automated unit, functional, and performance testing
• Experience integrating intelligent agents into CI/CD pipelines to automate reviews, testing, or deployments
• AI Driven Development
• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or Claude Code
• Passion for applying GenAI tools to improve engineering velocity and quality
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks or autonomous AI workflows
• Exposure to mobile development (iOS, Android, or cross platform)
• Working knowledge of Python, especially for AI/ML or automation use cases

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below. Role Location: Ontario-HybridCompensation Range: $104,000-$130,000 Benefits Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
