Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Sales and Marketing Representative role based in Vancouver, BC, with the flexibility to work from home part of the week. The representative will identify and engage prospective students and partners, present Unizportal’s platform and services, and guide prospects through the study-abroad funnel from initial inquiry to application. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outbound and inbound sales activities, organizing online and in-person info sessions, and supporting campaigns that promote programs and partner universities. The role will involve maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to inquiries promptly, and ensuring a positive user experience across phone, email, social media, and in-app communications. The representative will also collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide market feedback, support content and campaign development, and participate in training sessions for partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation abilities.
  • Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, problem-solving, and relationship management.
  • Proven Sales and Sales & Marketing skills, including lead generation, prospect qualification, pipeline management, and conversion.
  • Experience in Training others, such as onboarding partners, delivering product demonstrations, or running information sessions and workshops.
  • Experience in education, EdTech, international student recruitment, or related fields is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Vancouver, BC, with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, digital marketing channels, and data-driven decision-making is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
