The position is focused on Water Treatment Industry development. What we offer:

What you’ll do:

• Identify value added product options for customers operations focused heavily on Flocculants and Coagulants and specialty Water Treatment chemistries
• Conduct field trials at customers operations to confirm and verify lab findings in full plant trial environments
• Work with internal team and/or customers on new product formulations
• Respond to various customer’s technical or chemical performance queries
• Deliver internal technical training to personnel as required
• Participate in joint calls with the sellers in the Region, to support and identify new growth opportunities
• Assist Water Treatment Conferences and network with the industry stakeholders
• Available to travel approximately 25% of the time or as business requires
• Other tasks as assigned

What we would like from you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a related field (i.e. chemistry; chemical engineering)
• 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or marketing preferred
• Strong knowledge of the operation of Water and Wastewater treatment plants with a strong emphasis on coagulation and flocculation chemistries
• Experience with the following lab scale equipment preferred; Scion 456 GC-FID, Perkin Elmer Spectrum, FT-IR, Hach DR 1900 Spectrophotometer, Turbidimeter, pressure filters, vacuum filters
• Ability to write technical laboratory reports and present findings to customers in a clear manner.
