Job Title:Full Stack .NET DeveloperLocation: Remote (Halifax Canada)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team. Reporting directly to the IT Application Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting both new and existing enterprise applications. This role includes working on production support, small enhancements, and development projects within a Microsoft technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET/C# applications and services.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to architecture and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues in a production environment.
  • Create unit and integration test plans and assist in quality assurance testing.
  • Maintain technical documentation and assist with end-user documentation when necessary.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, QA, product owners, designers, and support teams.
  • Work closely with QA, DBAs, and BAs to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET/C# and the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Proficient in SQL Server and relational database development.
  • Experience working on large-scale, high-volume applications.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS, AWS Glue, or Informatica is a plus.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in Production Support or a Run environment is highly valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior production support experience.
  • Experience in legacy application modernization projects.
  • Hands-on experience in .NET full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
