The Account Manager plays a vital role in developing and maintaining client relationships at Tootsi. This
position is essential for ensuring client satisfaction, growing sales, and achieving the company's growth
objectives.
The Account Manager is responsible for managing a specific territory, prospecting for new clients, and
optimizing sales with existing clients. They must provide superior advice, support, and customer
experience. They collaborate with various internal departments to meet client needs and achieve sales
targets.
ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management
• Manage relationships with new and existing clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and personalized support.
Sales Development
• Prospect, develop, and optimize sales within the assigned territory.
• Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to achieve optimal results.
• Negotiate and conclude sales contracts in accordance with company policy.
Planning and Tracking
- Plan client visits within the territory.
- Document and produce relevant reports on sales activities.
Training and Product Knowledge
• Undergo continuous training on existing and new products to provide superior customer service.
Company Representation
• Represent the company during promotional activities and events such as trade shows.
• Project a professional and credible image of the company.
Market Monitoring
Continuously monitor industry trends.
Collaboration
• Collaborate on various projects and perform other related tasks to support the sales team.
Required Qualifications
Skills
• College or University degree in Business Administration OR a combination of education and
relevant experience will be considered.
• Relevant Sales and/or Customer Service experience including prospecting, cold calling, lead
conversion and/or sales support.
• Fluency in English (oral and written). Fluency in French is an asset.
• Good PC skills, including MS Office (Excel), various systems (ERP, Web search), and remote
work through technology.
Personal Attributes
• Self-starter, team player, dynamic, disciplined, ambitious, and persuasive.
• Valid Class 5 driving license with a good record and a valid passport for travel to the United
States.
• Ability to travel to meet customers or participate in trade show events.
